As Havle Women’s Association, we conducted a total of 54 in-depth interviews, 38 of which were women, in 12 provinces between October 2019 and January 2020, as part of our research representative of Turkey, and asked the participants about their views and experiences regarding underage marriages.
In the documentary, we present the combined and anonymized stories of 38 women who stated to have married before 18, from the provinces of İstanbul, Ağrı, Afyonkarahisar, Erzurum, Niğde, and Yozgat.
